Facilities Committee
Exciting news from Facilities in April! We
are thrilled to announce that the pool at The
Lodge will re-open on April 15. Residents
can look forward to enjoying a newly re-
plastered pool and spa. The decking has
been repaved with a special "cool touch"
material that remains comfortable to walk
on, even on the hottest days. You can step
out of the pool onto a fabulous deck, and
your bare feet will thank you! Several lounge
chairs will be re-slung, making them feel
brand new for your arrival in the renovated
area. Additionally, new umbrellas will be
set up, giving you the feeling of being at a
resort. Indeed, the pool and decking are
beautifully updated!
In other updates, the Facilities Committee
is diligently reviewing necessary repairs at
The Summit. Proposals will be presented
to the Board of Directors during the open
session meeting in April. Furthermore,
Facilities Committee meetings will now
take place at The Summit for the next few
months.
In March, we welcomed a new member of
our facilities staff. Marc Solomon, who has
been a long-time guest at our meetings, has
decided to join the committee to help with
facilities. Please join me in welcoming Marc
to our team. We appreciate his commitment,
as our meetings typically last three
hours. Although we meet once a month,
we maintain constant communication
throughout the month. We thank Marc and
all our members for their dedication to our
community as volunteers.
