Feeling stressed lately? Concerned about - res, prepping your
"go bag," nishing your taxes, rising HOA dues, evening news,
etc.?
Well, here's a suggestion… Join the Sewing Etc. Club! You'll
meet neighbors, learn new or practice old skills and, best of all -
get out of the house for a while! One of the nicest features about
living in our community is having hobby rooms not far away
from home - rooms that you don't have to dust and mop. (Well,
yes, you do need to pick up aer yourself.)
e Sewing Room is for more than sewing. As mentioned
in the past, the Sewing Etc. Club does much more than sew.
Members gather to knit, crochet, make loom hats, felt wool, cross
stitch, sew/quilt, etc. Our calendar of classes and activities is on
the OHCC website, go directly to https://ohccsewing.wixsite.com/
ohccsewing. Activities change from time to time, so check back
occasionally.
Interested guests are welcome to check us out at the monthly
meetings in the Mykonos Room. Meetings are held on the rst
ursday of the month from 9:30 to about 11 am.
e schedule always includes sharing time, during which you'll
see the wonderful eorts of our many talented members.
If you are interested in participating in our activities or would
like to make suggestions for classes or activities but are not
sure who to reach out to for further information, please contact
MaryLu Belisle (952) 454-1931.
All are welcome to join us. Dues are still just $7 a year. Written
