| OHCC LIVING | APRIL 2025 |27 Art Lovers On Feb. 26, the Art Lovers Club had a record turnout for our Car Trip to e Oceanside Museum of art! A good time was had by all including our very delicious lunch at the Oceanside Broiler. e Exhibit, Walk with Me was done by Matt Devine. By drawing inspiration from the diverse landscapes surrounding his home in Rural Oregon, this exhibition transforms the gallery into an immersive experience. rough free-standing steel and aluminum sculptures, suspended works, and intricate wall installations, visitors are transported into the serenity of nature. e next Exhibit, entitled the Stories at Connect Us, is from their growing permanent collection of over 300 works of art. It featured works by the infamous, James Hubbell. Marshall Toomey showed his very humorous works from his 20 years of working at the Walt Disney Animation Studios. On March 18, e Art Lovers Club will have a very special Guest Speaker. Our own, Don Kent and our Stained-Glass teacher, Jo Marr, will discuss the history of Stained Glass as well as demonstrate how the beautiful pieces are made. e Art Lovers Club continues to need several volunteers.
