February has been a busy month for our bridge club. We had
our rst, FIRST FRIDAY of the month at the Clubhouse for all
bridge players to socialize and play Chicago scoring bridge. We
also have been having beginning bridge classes and intermediate
classes FREE every Wednesday being taught by Diane Hillman
and Casey Shoenhard. New members are learning how to count
their points and bid hands. Intermediate to advanced players are
learning some challenging conventions to make slam bidding
with minors possible, Minorwood is what the convention is
called. We will continue to have classes throughout March. Our
bridge club now has over 80 players. We play duplicate bridge
every Tuesday from 5:30 to 8 pm and every other Friday from 1
to 4 pm. Please reach out to us online if you would like to join our
club and play on any of our times.
