FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | MAY 2025 29 Facilities Committee Welcome to May! This is the time of year we find ourselves out and about as we break away from the early spring rains and head to the warmth of the sunshine May brings. The Facilities Committee has several important projects lined up for May. We want to ensure that the community is well-informed and up to date with the latest developments. We are excited to announce that the re-plastering of The Summit pool and spa will commence in May. This project is crucial for maintaining the quality and safety of these recreational facilities. The Summit will be closed for a variety of construction projects beginning May 15. We appreciate your understanding and patience during this period. To keep everyone updated, we will provide updates in The Daily Report on the progress of the work. The Board of Directors has approved the installation of new blackout shades and acoustic panel pictures for the Ballroom. Additionally, the Ballroom chandeliers have been updated. These enhancements aim to improve the ambiance and functionality of space. The installation is set to begin in May. We are pleased to report that the installation of the bleachers located by the pickleball court is complete. This addition provides comfortable seating for players and spectators and enhances the overall experience. Two of the three gazebos in Springdales have been completed. These structures offer a beautiful and shaded area for relaxation and social gatherings. The third gazebo will be completed by mid- May. In last month's meeting, Marc Solomon was elected as our new secretary. This is exciting news as we have been searching for a new secretary for over a year. We thank Marc and all of our members for their hard work and dedication as volunteers. We would like to remind everyone that broken equipment should not be used or tampered with. Lately, we have noticed homeowners removing signs from broken gym equipment and attempting to use the broken equipment, which poses a risk. If a sign indicates that something is broken, please do not use the equipment for your safety and the safety of others. Thank you! The Facilities Committee has changed its meeting time to the first Thursday of every month at 9 am. Meetings will currently be held in The Summit Game Room. We appreciate the community's support and cooperation as we work on these projects. Your feedback and participation are invaluable as we continue to improve our facilities. For questions or concerns, you can reach me at ginajo25@aol. com or contact the FirstService team for assistance. Thank you! ~ Regina Farmer Bleachers located by pickleball courts Enhancement to the Ballroom chandeliers and sconces
