We rang in the new year with fun and bravado. But, there was no
real surprise as to who emerged victorious as the quarterly winners.
Jesse Dimmer proved again that he was unbeatable. His love and
mastery of the game were insurmountable indeed. Jesse won 73
games for the 2025 winter quarter – January, February, and March.
He won each month as well! Still, Reggie Fuqua, and Ed Stinson
performed quite well over the same period. Reggie handily won
second place with 58 games, while Ed won third place with 45 games.

Our next announcement for the winners of the 2025 spring quarter
– April, May, and June – will be in July 2025 and will post in the
August 2025 Breeze. So players … "knives out," get ready, get set, and
go! Let's see who beats Mr. Dimmer!
While we enjoy the competition, we do also offer relaxing sets
where the aim is playing the game, win or lose. Our club is actively
encouraging more players, experienced and novice, to come out and
join us on Wednesday and Friday evenings.
We offer joyful, fun-filled sets where players match their wits and
gaming styles while attempting to "domino" — or play their last
bone before other players can do so. There is soulful music in the
background, and (often) goodies to munch on.
So, come on out and join us for an enjoyable evening "slamming
bones." The Dominoes Club plays every Wednesday and Friday from
6 until 9 pm in the Game Room. Novice players are encouraged to
come out on Wednesdays and Fridays from 5 to 6 pm to learn the
game.
