Ladies Putters
Mother Nature was still
yanking our chain in March
and because of that the
Lady Putters weren't able
to get out as often as they would have liked. But, one of
our rules is that if at least two ladies show up, they WILL
putt and record their scores. So, on one cold morning in
March, Groundskeepers Elaine Brown and Phyllis Kates
met at The Courts, set up the course and waited … and
waited. Since nobody else showed up, they went ahead
and played our usual two rounds. It was a bit nippy, but
they both admitted that they had fun even though they
were dressed as if they were visiting the Arctic Circle, LOL.
With warmer weather on the horizon, we know most of
the ladies on our roster will be coming out more often. If
any gals reading this are looking for a low-impact, high-
fun, and social activity, this is it, and the best part is no
experience is necessary. We have extra putters and balls if
you'd like to come out and give it a try. Our 9-hole putting
green is located at The Courts, behind the pool area. Our
putting days/times are Mondays at 4 pm and Fridays at 9
