| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | MAY 2025 | 7 ey heard there were HOA regulations that might aect their alteration; they reviewed the ARCHITECTURAL STANDARDS AND REGULATIONS to see what they could do. ey conrmed with the HOA that an application to the ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW COMMITTEE (ARC) was required before starting their alteration. ey DID NOT START the alteration. ey submitted an application to the ARC. e ARC approved their application. ey were informed by letter of the ARC's decision. ey proceeded with the alteration as proposed and approved. When their project was completed, they submitted the Exhibit C paperwork. Upon inspection by the ARC, their alteration was approved. ey heard that there may be HOA regulations that aected their alteration. ey didn't investigate. ey began their alteration anyway. ey were informed by the HOA that their alteration was being made in violation of the ARCHITECTURAL STANDARDS AND REGULATIONS, to stop the alteration and submit an application to the ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW COMMITTEE (ARC). ey continued their alteration anyway. ey were sent letters requesting an application to the ARC, but they never submitted one. ey were called to a hearing with the HOA Board because they didn't have approval. e HOA Board armed an application was to be submitted to the ARC. ey nally submitted an Exhibit A application. e ARC disapproved their application as the work was not done according to the Standards. ey had to alter their improvements at a considerable cost.
