Lee Greenwood, (initiated by Russ and
sung by Jim Robo) had us all on our feet
heralding 'Proud to be an American' in
remembrance of Memorial Day. Hank and Reva Alberts, joined
here by Orville, are taking in all the festivities, and Reva hits the
dance oor, (partner in tow) to entertain us all. Go ladies!
On June 6 ,TGIF will hit the Beach for
some 'Welcome Summer' fun! eme is
everything tropical. From Frankie Avalon
to the Beach Boys, there will be no shortage
of surf, sand and maybe a little beach
blanket bingo? In the Aloha spirit, bring
on the palm trees, leis and sea shells. Best
decorated table wins a special gi bag. We will also be celebrating
all the terric dads, (and grandpas) out there for Father's Day.
e buet/dessert tables are always laden with such delectables;
no one ever goes hungry at TGIF! is month, let's bring on
summer with those old time favorites — hot dogs, hamburgers,
summer salads, fruit cobblers, apple pie, and of course watermelon.
is is the month to tickle our taste buds with whatever faves are
in your recipe box. Did someone say, "Chili Cook-o ?"
As always, Karaoke continues to be the main attraction, following
dinner and the rae for those many coveted door prizes. e fun
begins at 5 pm for another great evening of breaking bread with
great friends and sharing in the music of our own making. You
are always welcome to bring your own dinner if you don't wish
to participate in the shared menu items. Either way, do plan to
BYOB, plates, napkins and utensils.
