| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | JUNE 2025 | 27 More About Drinking Habits If the name of the play caught your eye, you may have thought it might be something very serious, perhaps celebrating the art of making cocktails or rowdy alcoholic parties. No, instead you should think about the word "habits" in the title of the play, particularly if you were raised Catholic, maybe attended elementary or high school run and taught by nuns. ere are just four nuns at the Perpetual Sewing Convent, when the order thinks there are more than 20 trying to raise money to keep the Convent going by repairing clerical garments. ey also grow grapes. What do they do with the grapes they grow? Mother Superior thinks it's for juice? Is it great wine well known to local townspeople who don't know who makes it? Two reporters go undercover to nd out what's going on at the Convent. ey are looking for who's making great wine so they can write a story about it and award a signicant cash prize. row in other characters who want to know what's going on and also don habits and other clerical wear. Stunning and surprising relationships, and plans come into focus eventually. What will your friends, our actors, look like in habits and other clerical garments? Will they all get drunk? Will anyone marry? Will the convent survive or be shut down? is is a very fast pace, at sometimes a bit crazy play. Come to the show to nd out for yourself and have some fun with us. From Robin Fournier e Director of Drinking Habits I am so excited to invite you to see Drinking Habits, our second of three productions in 2025 on June 14 at 6:30 pm. I have been involved in numerous theater productions at Four Seasons, sometimes on stage and other times in a support role, most recently as Persis in Who Murdered Marsha. But this is the rst time I'm directing a play, and I can't think of a more hilarious play to direct with a fabulous cast of seven veteran 4SP actors. Community theater is dened as theatrical performances produced and performed by and for members of a local community, typically involving volunteers. anks to Four Seasons Hemet residents like you, it is more. You make our performances feel like we are all a family sitting around the living room aer dinner playing a fun game. e love and support you all give when we hear your reaction, in maybe a laugh or two, is worth its weight in gold. ank you for being a second family to all of us.
