| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | JULY 2025 | 15 Our TGIF Family wish you all a safe and Happy Fourth of July as we celebrate our nation's 249 years of freedom. There will be no TGIF in July as the first Friday is our actual day of celebration. We look forward to joining everyone out on the Plaza for our annual Fourth of July Party! As the photos above reveal, June was indeed the Beach Party we anticipated. In the true Aloha spirit, this table (far left) took the prize for best decorated table. Singing to a full house, Orville and Albert led the girls in a truly entertaining rendition of "Barbara Ann," Beach Boys style (center). And of course none of it would have happened had friends of Russ Brown (from the Elks Club) not guest DJ'd for him. Charlie Fuentes and his wife, Robin, fit right in and were gracious in helping us out in Russ' absence (far right). Charlie even started us off with a Hawaiian themed beach song to get everyone on "island time." As usual, the buffet/dessert tables were laden with homemade choices, including a birthday cake for Jim Zuber, choosing to celebrate his special day with all of us. You are always welcome to bring your own dinner if you don't wish to participate in the shared menu items. Either way, do plan to BYOB, plates, napkins, and utensils. We have not yet chosen our theme for August, but rest assured it will be in celebration of more fun times with happy party-goers. If you have any ideas, email Robyn or me and then join us for the event you helped to inspire. As always, following dinner and the raffle drawing, Karaoke continues to be the main attraction. Russ will be back with us as we dance the night away. The fun begins at 5 pm, and now our temporary summer hours keep us together until 9 pm. If you are new to our community, (or been here a long time and wonder what is TGIF?) c'mon down. You will not be disappointed!
