The vitality of this community is carried on the backs of a small but dedicated army of volunteers. Some of them fill the more challenging posts of serving on the Boards of the villages or the Master Association. Often when they make decisions in the best interests of their fellow residents, some of those who disagree are critical of them personally. At publication of this issue, the outcome of the current Master Board of Directors election is not yet known. But whatever that outcome, those who have been chosen to serve deserve your support — and your sincere thanks. By the time this issue reaches your tube, your Association will have a new President. Please give her or him your support. It has been my honor to have served as your President these past five years, and I thank you for your continued interest in the affairs of your Association. Continued from previous page The Executive Finance Committee met on July 28 to review June 30 financial statements. This review included comprehensive explanations of variances from the budget. Abbreviated financial statements are posted on the website. The total variance from budget for three months of the fiscal year is $48,609. During the three months ended June 30, 2025, additional income was realized from higher interest rates. Open positions of Keystone personnel resulted in lower expenses. Required tree removals, trimming and replacements increased expenses. The equity balance at June 30, 2025 is $488,496. Currently the state of the Association's finances remains sound and stable. The completed fiscal year ended March 31, 2025 audit has been reviewed and approved for distribution. Audit adjustments will be ref lected in July 2025 statements.
