28 | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | OCTOBER 2025 | On Sun., Oct. 12, The Friendship Club presents "Walk Like a Man – The Ultimate Frankie Valli Party," a high-energy, harmony-filled celebration of one of music's most iconic voices. Featuring four outstanding vocalists, slick choreography, and all the hits that defined a generation — Sherry, Big Girls Don't Cry, Can't Take My Eyes O You, and more — this unforgettable show brings the golden era of doo-wop and falsetto back to life. With soaring harmonies, charming banter, and the timeless magic of Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, "Walk Like a Man" delivers a night of nostalgia, joy, and music that will have you singing along from the first note. At the end of the 2025 season, The Friendship Club will be ending its long run as a club in Sun Lakes. Any members who still have punches left on their season tickets should use them on the last three shows. Reservations are requested. ALL SHOWS ARE OPEN TO SUN LAKERS. Tickets for each show are $25 for members, and $30 for guests. Doors open at 6 pm with open seating, and the show begins at 7 pm. Make checks out to Friendship Club and drop them off at 5168 Rio Bravo Drive. Contact membership chairperson Pam London at (951) 990-5744 for more information. There is a delicious dinner available in the Sandwedge before each show, with overflow seating in the restaurant. Reservations must be made ahead of time, at (951) 769-6654. The Friendship Club The Friendship Country Western Dance The 2024-2025 line dance year commenced on Sept. 29 and will continue each Monday night at 6:30 pm in the South Clubhouse. If you missed that first class, no problem. Come to the next class on Mon., Oct. 6. Your first class is free. After that, you join the club for $20, and pay $3 per class to cover the instructor fee. Line dance is wonderful exercise for your body and for your mind. Our instructors are skilled at teaching dance to seniors.
