58 | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | OCTOBER 2025 | October is finally here after a long hot summer. Cooler and shorter days also bring a change to our Friday morning start time – 9 am instead of 8:30 am. This month we will have two tournaments – Oct. 24 Pinehurst (Two-Man Pick your Partner) and Oct. 31 Individual Stroke and final round of Eclectic. The Executive Men's Golf Club is open to all male residents regardless of ability, age, or handicap. We have exclusive use of the Executive Course on the north side every Friday morning. If you are looking for an excuse to get out of the house and hang out with a great bunch of guys and play some golf, look no further. Our club is now up to 141 members, and we can always use more. Come join us! Dues are only $20 for the remainder of the year. Membership forms are available in the North Clubhouse Pro Shop or on the EMGC website. Cooler and shorter days also bring Saturday Morning Golf We had quite a good time at our August dinner celebrating Bob Mejia's 98th birthday (photo above left) and the many holes-in-one this past quarter with trophies going to Joe Denembo, Mike Smith, and Steven Kadolph (photo above right). Due to weather delay we finished our championship a week later the winners will be announced next month (although I don't believe it will be much of a surprise). We are now coming up to our final quarterly dinner and holiday tournaments and are taking nominations for next year's Board. We are always accepting new members — both men and women.
