| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | OCTOBER 2025 | 59 Ladies Executive Golf We've endured a pretty hot summer, but now it's time to look forward to fall and cooler weather. We are excited about this month's upcoming events: the Pink Ball, Highland Springs, and Trick or Treat Tournaments. Congratulations to Maria Kort, who won the putting contest, and to the ladies who won the "3 Wise Women" tournament: 1st place went to Michelle Bravo, 2nd to Bea Mercado, and tied for 3rd place were Nancy Kadolph, Pam D'Arca, and Judy Grant. Our "Hot August Tees" tournament winners were Bea Mercado, Candi Christopher, Nancy Kadolph, Valerie Crithfield, Kay Rawle, Pat Echelberger, Eileen Zulkowski, Diane Spence, Ann Delisi, and Joyce Close. Our annual membership fee is $12.50 for the rest of the year, and we also offer an Associate Membership for $5 if you're not a golfer but want to participate in our social activities and attend our monthly business and lunch meetings. Membership applications are available at the North Clubhouse. Women's Golf The Sun Lakes Women's Golf Club is an 18-hole club that plays every Thursday on the Championship Course. Our membership includes golfers of all ages and abilities who share the love of golf and love to have fun. We play easy games, interesting tournaments, and specific competitions. On the second Thursday of every month, we have a luncheon and general meetings at the Main Clubhouse. We invite you to join us and become part of the only 18-hole Women's Club within Sun Lakes. It's a great way to meet like-minded golfers, hone your skills, and have a blast while doing it! For information, contact Mo Farra, Membership Chair, at (714) 292-4056. We play nine holes every Thursday morning on the Championship Course from the gold tees so no need to be a big hitter. And more importantly our members play for fun and the camaraderie of our fellow Niners. We take the game seriously but we don't take ourselves seriously.
