But we're back at it – full speed ahead! We are again working hard to provide you with entertainment that is creative, funny, fun, meaningful, unusual, exciting, educational, and thought-provoking. We'll shortly be asking new talent to join us – perhaps, even those with musical talents! We had a really good turnout for the bluegrass of Home Grown Tomatoes last month. We'd love to see them return and so, apparently, do you! Sadly, the kids' theatre program (Front Row Center) for which we had arranged, weren't able to make their show. As you can see, we improvised! Upcoming events: Adrienne Nims will be making a return engagement on Oct. 6. Her theme will be "Octoberfest!" Keep your eyes and ears open to nd out what she's oering. e world premiere of Starlights, a brand new play written by Janet S. Tiger just for OHCC, and directed by Patricia Moran Collins, will be performed in Abravanel Hall on Oct. 17 and 18. is will be our rst major production since COVID. Congratulations to those 20 (yes, "20") residents who were cast in Starlights! We look forward to their performances. Tickets must be purchased in advance and will be $20 each. Ticket sale information to follow via emails and tubes for details as to ticket purchase dates and times. You won't want to miss this show! All members are welcome to join the eatre Arts Wednesday classes, which meet from 1 to 3 pm on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month. Actors' Workshop is led by Charmayne Huntley (CharmayneHuntley@gmail.com), and Playreaders is led by Anita Simons (ASimonSays@gmail.com). Please check your emails each month for dates, topics and room assignments. Our next regular Board meeting will be held Oct. 15, at 11 am, in a room to be assigned. Regular Board meetings are held the third Wednesday of the month at 11 am, and are open to all eatre Arts members, so please do come and join us. Join eatre Arts so you can participate in all of our entertainment and activities. Our annual dues are currently $15. With that small amount, you will enjoy all membership privileges.
