FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | NOVEMBER 2025 47 Wow! Can you believe it's already November? Only two months left in this year. Where does the time go? It has been such a busy, fun-filled year for our Travel Group, and we couldn't be more grateful for all the wonderful memories made along the way. The recent 20th Anniversary Parade was a true highlight. What a special celebration it turned out to be! It was fantastic to see so many clubs take part, helping make the event festive and memorable. The colorful f loats, cheerful music, and enthusiastic participants all came together beautifully, and the day was full of joy. Hopefully, many of our residents were able to come out, line the streets, and show support for our community. It really was one of those days that reminded us of why we love being a part of this community. Check out the photos from that day at right. But we're not slowing down just yet! This month, we're heading to the Getty Villa in Malibu, a destination that promises to be both fascinating and inspiring. The Villa is a true gem, offering visitors a chance to step back in time and admire extraordinary art and history. You'll encounter remarkable collections of ancient artwork, elegant statues, and stunning architecture. The lush landscaping surrounding the grounds, complete with serene gardens and even a beautiful swimming pool, make it feel like you've been transported to another world. Whether you are an art lover, a history buff, or just someone who enjoys a breathtaking setting, this trip is guaranteed to be something special. Looking ahead to December, our final outing of 2025 will take us to San Diego's Little Italy for a festive day filled with holiday cheer. We'll enjoy the sights, sounds, and f lavors of a traditional Italian tree-lighting ceremony. From twinkling lights and charming streets to delicious food and the famous Santa's Village, it's the perfect way to wrap up the year together. This is always one of our most popular trips, and it's easy to see why — it combines travel, tradition, and togetherness in the heart of one of San Diego's most vibrant neighborhoods. As we close out the year, we are reminded once again that the best part of our group is sharing these adventures with all of you. Thank you for your enthusiasm, friendship, and love of travel. Here's to ending 2025 with joy and starting the new year with excitement for even more journeys ahead. For membership questions or to join the Travel Group, contact Irene at irenewelker55@gmail.com. They enjoyed fun birthday lunches at Finney's Crafthouse in Redlands, Claim Jumper in San Bernardino, and Kasama in Beaumont. We also took a very interesting tour of the Amazon Fullfillment Center in Eastvale. It was fascinating to learn how those items you purchase on Amazon get delivered to your door. We also attended a jazz concert presented by the San Bernardino Symphony at San Bernardino Valley College. Rounding out our month, we attended LifeHouse Theater's production of Jonah! A Whale of a Tale in Redlands. Many more activities like these are on our to-do list so if these sound like activities you'd enjoy and you're single, we'd love to see you at one of our future meetings.
