FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | NOVEMBER 2025 7 Autumn is in the air and the holidays are upon us. I hope everyone was able to get a jump on their holiday shopping during the Craft Boutique; what a fun time that was. Our highly-anticipated Veterans Car Show will happen on Saturday, Nov. 8 from 10 am to 2 pm in The Lodge Administration parking lot. This is our way of honoring our wonderful veterans. The Bistro will be offering breakfast burritos and sandwiches in a little booth during the car show and the amazing homemade ice cream vendor, Roosevelt Ice Cream (photos above), will be making delicious ice cream on the spot. If you are an ice cream connoisseur, you will certainly agree that this ice cream is the best ever! We will be entertained throughout the day by both DJ Dave and the live band "Joe and the Forgettables." These two groups will keep us hopping and bopping as we admire all of the incredible cars. There will also be a raff le and other goodies available. Come on down and enjoy the fun! For all of you Club and Group Captains, be sure to come to our Annual Events Lottery to book any special events you may be wanting to do in addition to your regularly-booked meeting time. The lottery will be Wednesday, Nov. 12 at 6 pm in the RCN Main Room. Please be sure the Captain, main contact, or a representative of your group comes to pull a lottery number for priority in choosing a date. Be sure to have several choices for the date you are hoping for, in case your preferred date is taken. Also, on Wednesday, Nov. 12, a new program will be offered to us by the County of Riverside called, "Tech on Wheels." These professionals are offering senior communities free computer, iPad, or smart phone help from 10 am to 2 pm in The Lodge parking lot. Anita Worthen will be showcasing this service in her Community Awareness meeting on the same day. If you are unable to ask questions or get your device fixed on the 12th, they will be back again on Nov. 21, from 10 am to 2 pm in The Lodge parking lot. Everyone is welcome. For you dancers, the Westbrooks will be hosting another "Latin Beats & More" dance on Friday, Nov. 14 at 6 pm in The Lodge Ballroom. You are welcome to bring your dinner from the Bistro or BYOB. This is a no-cost event and always proves to be a popular one. Hooray! The Musician's Guild is back with some home-grown music. They will be presenting multiple bands for you to enjoy on Sunday, Nov. 16. The doors open at 5:30 pm and the show starts at 6 pm. It's always amazing to hear the quality of musicianship that we have here in the community. Be sure to come out and support these hard working neighbors! Lastly, we all have a lot to be grateful for this year and I'm always grateful for the privilege of serving my favorite community in the world, Four Seasons Beaumont! You folks are the best and the joy of my life! May each and every one of you know how important you are and how much you are loved. Enjoy a wonderful and meaningful Thanksgiving. Big hugs to you all. ~ Cindy Graves Activities Director's Report
