What a great time we had for the Oldlympics. We had 34 people
divided into 3 teams competing for the gold medal. The competition
was fierce with the ball bouncing off of people's heads and f lying over
the net all the while people kept their butts in the chair! The gold
medal winners are as follows: Dave Rohrbacker, Scott Skellinger,
Jolene Cooley, Julie Roth, Allen Koblin, Paul Seigman, Augie Ramirez,
Margie Spies, Terry Albright, Karen Staublein, and Bev Haller.
Congratulations to the silver and bronze winners as well. This was
the first year we competed in this event and we hope for many more.
We play on the second
and fourth Thursday of
each month on the grass
area by the pickleball
courts. We are shifting
to winter hours so we
will start at 4 pm. Chair
volleyball is a lot of fun
if you are looking to
try something new and
different.
