38 | OHCC LIVING | NOVEMBER 2025 | Bingo It has been an amazing year for Bingo. In 2025, we had over 210 players each month, and the Hall felt filled to overf lowing with very limited room. Pretty soon we will have to implement a reservation system! JUST KIDDING! No reservations. You all just need to squish in a bit, don't leave all those empty seats between your groups. We have the room set up for about 250 each month, and you can help by not leaving empty seats — buddy up, get to know your table mates, make a few new friends, and allow easier access to other players. Thanks to our 2025 sponsors. I don't always remember to say thank you to our sponsors each month. On occasion, I miss writing my Bingo article, and while at Bingo, I sometimes get pulled away or just forget to thank you for everything you have done. Without our sponsors, there would be no ice cream and those extra door-prizes you all love. Two sisters won Bingo jackpots. Not just sisters, but twins (above). Janet Vandercook, an OHCC resident, and Joni Marsden, who is two minutes older than Janet, both won in consecutive games to boot. But this time Janet was first to win, and Joni was second. Janet is spending her winnings on some new plants for the yard and Joni just can't make up her mind. In total there are four sisters, in addition to Janet and Joni, there is Barbara and Suzanne, both are OHCC residents as well. Suzanne is also on the Bingo Board of Directors. Although we have tried, we haven't been able to talk Joni out of Orange County. Congratulations to both Joni and Janet. I look forward to seeing everyone in January 2026.
