| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | DECEMBER 2025 | 11 Sun Lakes Committee Reports Tuesday night Bingo is going strong. The Bingo Committee aims to provide entertainment for our guests and raise funds for local charities. We're dark for December but after that, come join the fun, win prizes, and enjoy delicious food and beverages served by our own Restaurant and Lounge. Food and drinks can be purchased with a credit card. All residents and visitors are welcome to buy items. We will play 12 regular games and three special games. Guests can participate for as little as $7 for the entire evening. Remember, only cash is accepted — no checks or credit cards. Many cash prizes and door prizes will be awarded weekly. Doors open at 4:30 pm, and games begin promptly at 6 pm, generally concluding by 8:45 pm. Any questions? Please call Karen at (575) 202-6266. Bingo Advisory It was our pleasure to recognize Jim VanMessel from our Golf Operations team as Employee of the Month. Jim works primarily in the Executive Golf Shop four days a week, where his professionalism, positive attitude, and dedication to serving our members truly stand out. Jim is known for being exceptionally organized and reliable, member-focused and personable, punctual and ready to assist, dependable with inventory, and a rising leader in golf tournament operations. Jim proudly serves as the golf professional for both the Ladies Executive Golf Club and the Men's Executive Golf Club. Jim is more than a fantastic employee — he's a great teammate. His strong work ethic, integrity, and dedication make it a pleasure to work with him. The Marketing Committee is proud to congratulate Jim for being the September Employee of the Month for his outstanding job performance. Jim truly deserves this honor and the Visa gift card. Remember, you can nominate any employee at Sun Lakes for Employee of the Month. Nominations can be made for monitors, maintenance staff, Pro Shop staff, or Food and Beverage personnel. Forms are available in the Main Clubhouse, Lounge, Restaurant, Sandwedge, and Pro Shop for residents to acknowledge employees' exceptional work.
