Thank you to everyone who helped in making our Paint 'n Sip an official Sun Lakes Group. If I listed all the names of each person who made this possible, I would run out of space! We hope to meet at least once a month in either the North or South Clubhouse. I do like to focus on neo- graphic art, with arts & crafts in the mix, all the seasons, and holiday canvas paintings. During the last week of October, about 35 of us got together to create a spooky-themed painting of haunted houses. Some of us brought our kids and one guest driving all the way from San Diego. My friends help set up and some come to share their home-baked cookies. I brought the paints, canvases, the class, some mimosas, and everyone else brought delicious food. Our December Paint Party is Sat., Dec. 13 at 11 am in the South Clubhouse. Based on the votes, we will be painting this adorable snowman (at right). Donation for supplies is $20. Let's potluck — bring a dish to share and, if necessary, include serving utensils. We are a gathering of yarn enthusiasts working together on knitting, crocheting, needlepoint and what have you. We have no dues. We meet in the North Clubhouse every Monday. On the second Monday of the month we share our yarns and supplies, on the last Monday of the month we share a potluck lunch. This month we gather for a gift exchange and potluck on Dec. 15, at 11:30 am. We continue our blanket project for Kaiser Hospital in Fontana for terminal patients. Mudslingers A very Merry Christmas to all Sun Lakers. The mudslingers have added a Tuesday and Thursday sessions. They meet Tuesdays at 9 am to noon and Thursdays from 3 to 6 pm. The cost is $80 per month and includes all supplies and firings. There is no long-term commitment; it is month to month. Please know we cannot make exceptions to the scheduling, the only open session is Tuesdays/Thursdays. To join, just come by the Main Clubhouse Arts & Crafts Room in the at class time to see Bear.
