It's Time to Purchase Your Tickets: Tickets for the Traditional English Tea
will go on sale Sat., Dec. 6 at 3 pm and again on Wed., Dec. 10 (if needed) at 3 pm
in the Main Clubhouse Lobby. This event is open to Sun Lakes residents only.
Ticket prices are the same as last year, $45 per person. Payment will be accepted
in cash or checks made payable to the Sun Lakes Charity. Seating is at tables of
eight; groups wishing to sit together should submit all of the checks together at
the time of purchase. This very popular event sells out quickly so don't delay.
The Tea will be held Feb. 21, 2026, from 2 to 4 pm in the South Clubhouse.
Charitable Trust Grant Distribution: The Sun Lakes Charitable Trust
disbursed money raised from this year's charitable events on Oct. 30. A total
of $79,000 was given to 28 local deserving non-profit organizations, many of
whom rely heavily on the support provided by Sun Lakes and the Charitable
Trust.
It's Westward Ho! The informational meeting for Charity Week 2026 will
be held on Tues., Jan. 6 at 10 am on the Lobby side of the Main Clubhouse
Ballroom. The Theme for 2026 is Westward Ho! We will be introducing some
new activities and events, including our kick-off event, a 3K Fun Walk and
a 5K Run. Come find out how you can get involved in this year's week-long
fundraising extravaganza. Volunteering is a very rewarding experience and
you may meet new friends while supporting the Charitable Trust in their goal of
supporting local non-profit organizations.
