| THE COLONY NEWS | DECEMBER 2025 | 29 Holiday cheers from the Ping Pong Club! As the year comes to a close, the club is wrapping it up with a fantastic mix of rallies, laughter, and holiday spirit. It's been an incredible year, one filled with friendly competition, new and returning players, and plenty of backhand brilliance. Our play schedule is Wednesday, Friday and Sunday from 1 to 4 pm in the Auditorium. Ping Pong By Lisa Schrader, 714-814-4543 It is time for the Mah Jongg Holiday Party on Dec. 9th at 2 pm. Please arrive at 1:45 pm to get your name tags, add your food to our holiday table and get your seats so that we can start right at 2 pm. We have lots of fun activities planned, and we will need every minute to get them all in. We will play a little party Mah Jongg (experienced players will be paired with new players), and enjoy Mah Jongg themed bingo, games, raff les and lots of prizes. Come enjoy the holidays and meet and mingle with some of the great people who live in our community. Our last holiday party was a great success. You don't want to miss this one. Everyone is asked to bring an appetizer or dessert to share, optional BYOB, plus $5 to be collected at the door to cover the cost of prizes. If you are interested in joining us and have not sent in you RSVP, please contact me right away with your name and what you are planning to bring. We would love to have you join us. Our new Hand & Foot group meets every other Monday in the Clubhouse hallway by the Salon from noon to 4 pm. We arrive around 11:45 am to get ready. Snacks are optional. Gals and guys are welcome, and we do hope you would like to join us. Come every time or when you can. There is no sub list, everyone plays. There are various ways to play Hand & Foot, and it's been so interesting to share about this. Mark your calendars! The December dates are the 8th and 22nd.
