Digital artist and photographer Nancy Roux is December's artist
of the month. She is an award-winning artist whose work has juried
into some of the finest art festivals throughout southern California
and Arizona.
A painter creates artwork with brush and canvas; Nancy creates
artwork with a camera and computer. Her technique and style
represent a radical departure from conventional photography.
Much of her recent artwork is spirit-led; it's a journey of discovery
she embraces with a passion. Her body of work includes organic
abstract, digital artwork, kaleidoscopic works, nature and Macro
photography presented on fine art canvas, infused on metal and
reproduced on a variety of gift items.
Nancy's artwork will be featured at the Gallery at the Merc in Old
Town Temecula from Dec. 17 through Feb. 1. Her solo exhibition,
entitled "Journeys of Discovery," will feature an eclectic mix of fine
art, photography, abstract artwork and mixed media.
Thank you, Nancy, for sharing your artwork with your friends

We held our last Watercolor class of the year on Oct. 29 and had a
large turnout. Our project was a branch with a pear. We had three
new painters, and as you can see, every painting was a success.
Most of all, we had fun!
To any of you new residents who wish to join us, think about
putting art supplies on your Christmas list. If you have any
questions regarding materials, please give me a call. Our next class
will be Thursday, Jan. 29, at 9 am. We are all looking forward to it.
