| THE COLONY NEWS | DECEMBER 2025 | 33 If you have wanted to try pickleball or want to get back into the game, come down any day of the week from 6 to 10 am, seven days a week. Generally speaking, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday between 8 to 10 am are the best days to come down to play and join in a game or two. The courts are available any day you choose, so grab a foursome and head down or just rotate into the action. Beginner, intermediate or expert, it doesn't matter, come on down and pick up a paddle and a ball and let's play pickleball! As always, reservations are not required and if you would like to have some free instructions, feel free to call me and I will be glad to help you. I look forward to seeing you on the court. Happy pickling! Pickleball By Scott Ross, 310-213-3362 Bocce By Jeanne Bender, 949-295-5412 TIME CHANGE: We will be playing Bocce on Thursdays from 2 to 4 pm. We will not be playing on Christmas Day, but anyone who would like to play is certainly welcome to come down and play with their family and/or friends. As New Year's Day is the following Thursday, we will not be playing then either, but you are welcome to come down if you wish. There are chairs, tables, umbrellas, and water and ice available; just bring a snack to share if you would like and whatever your preference for a beverage is. Come join us for a couple of hours of fun and friendly competition. No experience is necessary. As we head into the holiday season, I am thinking how fortunate we are to live in a place that offers us so much. Here in the Colony, we can be entertained, or we can entertain others. We can learn new skills and ideas, or we can share those skills and ideas. We have so many opportunities for personal growth and for friendship. And that is what our Ukulele Players group is all about. Check us out at the Annex every Friday at 1 pm. All you need to bring is your smile and a happy attitude; we have loaner ukuleles. For more information, call me at the above number. Colony Strummers By Judy Moore, 949-468-7375 We had a large turnout for our October dinner catered by The Cove.
