| OHCC LIVING | DECEMBER 2025 | 15 The Let's Dance Club Oktoberfest dance party was an absolute blast! Abravanel Hall was full of energy, with guests dressed in lederhosen and dirndls, dancing to the fabulous Gone Blonde Band. Their music kept most of everyone on their feet, and the vibe was pure fun and good spirits. The sound volume was just right too! Our December event "A Winter Gala" promises to be an elegant night of dancing to the timeless sounds of the popular Breez'n Band. We will have small appetizers and door prizes. Let's get ready to dance the night away on Sat., Dec. 13. Looking at 2026, we have 10 events planned, so save the following dates: 2/27, 3/20, 4/24, 5/23, 6/19, 7/17, 8/14, 9/26, 11/28, and 12/19. Don't forget Do Dues Day in the Hall on Sat., Jan. 13 to sign up or renew your membership OR renew early at the front desk. Since January of this year, our brand-new Let's Dance Club has been very grateful that we now have almost 450 enthusiastic members who have enjoyed meeting OHCC friends and making new OHCC friends all with the common interest of the joy of music and dancing to memorable oldies, classic rock, and soft volume. Held on Nov. 22 at the beautiful Abravanel Hall, the Cool Rush band kept the dance floor packed from the start at 6 pm (doors open at 5:30 pm). Thank you to the hundreds of members and guests who came out to rock with us for the last event of the year! ank You, Hosts and Volunteers! A huge shout-out to all the 2025 Party Hosts and their committees! Your commitment to our themes, fabulous arrangements, decorations, and smooth registration tables made every event a success. You truly did a fabulous job! Please consider volunteering as a host for 2026 so we can keep the party going! Looking Ahead: e 2026 Season: The Board of Directors is already hard at work securing the best bands and venues for 2026. We are currently interviewing, visiting, and contracting bands to ensure another great year for the Doo-Wop Club! Special Event: Pictures with Santa Don't forget the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Santa will be here for pictures on Dec. 6 from 2 to 4 pm on the Lanai.
