FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | FEBRUARY 2026 43 February is the month of love (and adventure), and the Board of the Travel Group wants you to know how much we truly love and appreciate our members. You support us by attending our meetings, joining our day trips, and helping make this group such a warm, welcoming community. That's why we work hard to plan trips that we think you will enjoy — and also trips many of you have asked for. We always have a wonderful time on our monthly outings, and this month is no exception. Our February trip is to the Grammy Museum on Feb. 18. You'll be able to step into recording booths, try out beat-making stations, and explore the world of music up close — so warm up those vocal cords and get ready to have some fun. Call Joni at (661) 390-5512 to reserve your spot. You won't want to miss this one! And don't forget — our February meeting is Feb. 21 at 10 am in the Ballroom. Our guest speaker will be Brendon's Vacations, presenting "Everything Ireland and Scotland." They will be represented by Lori Alm from AAA, who will share information, ideas, and inspiration for these beautiful destinations. So come on out and join us — and feel free to bring a friend along too. We look forward to seeing you and sharing another fun month of travel and friendship together! For membership, contact Irene Welker at irenewelker55@gmail. com and include your phone number. For info about trips or to reserve a spot call Joni at (661) 390-5512 or email jonitruelsen@ yahoo.com. ~ Joni Truelsen Travel Group Seasoned Singles Well, 2026 has started and the Singles finished 2025 with a f lourish. Their walking group continues to grow and take to the trails (weather permitting) two to three times a week for a brisk walk of a little more than one mile. In December, they celebrated several birthdays and got together for their annual holiday party and gift exchange. A group of Singles attended the San Bernardino Symphony's annual holiday concert, "A Christmas Festival," and about 16 of the group attended "A CBU Christmas" at Cal Baptist University. In January, they toured East Valley Water District's new state-of-the-art Sterling Natural Resource Center. A visit to the historic Watts Towers of Simon Rodia is being planned for early 2026. In addition to tours, museums, etc., we also celebrate birthdays with outings to local (and some not so local) restaurants. If these sound like activities you'd enjoy and you're a single resident of Four Seasons, we'd love to see you at one of our future meetings. We meet on the first Friday of the month at 6 pm in the RCN. For more information, please contact Sue Torkington at (860) 712-3430. ~ Phyllis Kates e Singles had a fun holiday party complete with a spirited gi exchange. In late December, the Singles celebrated Monica Saraan's birthday at Carolyn's Cafe (another group favorite).
