| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | MARCH 2026 | 23 March 20 is the first day of spring. February gave us some wonderful spring-like days. How lucky we are to live on this side of the country. We are also lucky to live in a warm welcoming community with plenty to keep us active and or entertained. Golden Girls Ladies Club is always promoting both friendship and fun filled activities, but Golden Girls is also more than just fun and games. We are women who support women. As we all grow older, life presents us with a litany of situations such as the loss of a loved one or illness or the celebration of a new grandbaby. We come together to hold each other up with open arms and open hearts. One way we connect with our members is we enlist our ladies to share their "Life's Journey" with us. Our first member to share was Charlotte Townend. We learned that she worked in Washington D.C. at the well known Smithsonian. Charlotte shared pictures with Truman-Eisenhower-Queen Elizabeth. Charlotte is happily married to Hal for over 63 years. Way to go, Charlotte. Next to share is Linda Wetter. In February, we gathered in Temecula to see the movie Solo Mio. We also had our fun Friday but was moved to Feb. 20 due to other conf licts. March events are: • Indio Playhouse to see a comedy called Laughter on the 23rd oor • Ramona Theater to see the play Rainmaker • Old Town Temecula Theater, also for a fun day • March 20 is our monthly Fun Day Friday to play fun games at 1 pm in the Game Room. We welcome you to join us one time to enjoy a day of fun, before joining our amazing club. Our next general meeting will be March 23 at 1:15 pm in the Ballroom, starting with a meet and greet before the official meeting starts. We welcome you to try something new this year.
