FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | MARCH 2026 25 Finance Committee The financial statements for December 2025 were reviewed and recommended for Board approval. In addition, the committee reviewed expenditure proposals for various recommended projects in the community. We also reviewed investment recommendations to move maturing investments to higher-yield, FDIC-insured instruments. Highlights of the December financial statements are: Total Cash is $11,024,252, including operating cash funds of $1,821,704 (checking and CDs), reserve account funds of $9,198,694, and reconstruction funds of $3,854. Our total year-to-date current income is ($136,012). Homeowners are welcome to join us at the Finance Committee's regularly-scheduled monthly meetings held on the last Tuesday of each month. Our next scheduled meeting will be March 31. The Finance Committee reviews and discusses many issues about which you may have questions. Residents are welcome to attend one of our meetings to become more familiar with our finances. At the beginning of each meeting, we allow three minutes per homeowner not to exceed 30 minutes in total for comments. Our meetings are held in the RCN Conference Room. Soon, the pear trees in the open area behind The Lodge will be in full bloom, their white blossoms signaling the official arrival of the season. It's the perfect time to take a leisurely drive — or an unhurried walk — through our neighborhoods and enjoy the fresh greens, soft pastels, and renewed energy that spring always brings. Behind the scenes, the Landscape Committee is already hard at work. Members will be walking the community every other week to keep an eye on our common areas, making sure any concerns are identified early and addressed promptly. Their efforts help ensure that our surroundings remain healthy, attractive, and enjoyable for everyone who calls Four Seasons Beaumont home. As always, the Landscape Committee welcomes new members. If you enjoy the outdoors, have an eye for detail, or simply want to share your ideas and insights, this is a great way to get involved. Your perspective and knowledge can make a real difference as we work together to keep our community looking its best this spring and beyond. Residents are welcome to attend our monthly meetings at 1 pm on the third Tuesday of the month in the RCN Conference Room and our walks that start at 8 am on Fridays. Please contact Kat Hughes of FirstService for more information. ~ Nancy Justice Canine Corral Committee members are included in the new Community Planning Committee's Ad Hoc Committee to research finding a new location for our dog park. This committee consists of members from Tails & Trails, Canine Corral, the Community Planning Committee, several members of the Board of Directors, and a few other dog owners. According to participants, the current location has multiple issues including no parking (you either park at The Courts or down on the side street). As we age, walking up and down the steep hill is becoming an issue. The DG surface leaves the dog's paws raw and, in some cases, even bleeding. Another complaint is that many owners don't want all the rules, application process, fobs, or fees to use the dog park. They feel it should be included in our Association dues as are most activities and facilities. We are listening to you! The committee is working on solutions to these issues. We still want our dogs to have a safe, fenced, off- leash area to run free with their furry friends. Help us by completing the survey that was sent out in mid- February. There are only a few questions, but your answers will have an impact on our decisions. Even if you do not have a dog, please take a few minutes to respond. If you do not have a computer, paper copies are available at The Lodge. Please read The Daily Report after the February Board of Directors meeting to see what changes might have occurred. We will also print any changes in the April Breeze. If you have any questions, please email me at marthafranck@ icloud.com. ~ Martha Franck, Co-Chairman Canine Corral Committee Canine Corral
