FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | MARCH 2026 63 The winter months are great months to enjoy indoor volleyball at The Summit. The temperature outside is a little cold, but inside the water is warm, and the volleyball competition is hot! During our indoor season, we play on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 10 am to noon. As everybody's skills are improving, we will be introducing a water volleyball skills assessment rubric that evaluates player proficiency across key technical and tactical areas, typically scoring on a scale (e.g., novice to advanced or 1-5) based on technique, accuracy, and in-game application. Key components include serving accuracy, underhand/overhand passing, setting, movement in water, and defensive Water volleyball is a great way to get out of the house for some low impact exercise, and the indoor game is much easier since the ball is softer and the pool shallower. Everyone is welcome and beginners especially enjoy the indoor experience. You don't need to be a member of the club to participate, and all ages, heights, and skill levels can enjoy the fun.
