Spring has finally arrived, bringing the perfect opportunity to shake off the winter blues and tap your way into a brighter season. Tap dancing offers a fun, energizing workout that strengthens both body and mind, making it an ideal way to welcome the warmer days ahead. Whether you're a seasoned dancer or brand new to tap, everyone is invited to join the 11 am class on Tuesday and Thursdays in the North Clubhouse and discover the joy of rhythm and movement. You might just uncover a hidden talent — after all, every great tapper starts somewhere. Who knows? You could be the next Eleanor Powell. Beginning Tap Class, Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 11 am to 12 pm in the North Clubhouse. Tap shoes are provided, and the fee is $40 per month. They will take care of business and keep things running smoothly for our 55 members, seven dance classes, and eight dance leaders. In addition to the monthly Board meetings, they will perform their duties at monthly general meetings, and are also members of the IDS Show Committee. These amazing ladies are the lifeblood of IDS. They teach classes, of course., but only after researching and testing various concepts, music and dance steps — and then developing choreography appropriate to our abilities. They generously share their love of dance, their talent and expertise, and that most precious of commodities … their time. IDS is always looking for new members, with or without prior dance experience. Come join us!
