I could have walked home, but once home, I would not have been able to get in my house. As my friend and I retraced our steps that morning, Mark Burcheld noticed we were searching for something in the Ballroom. He immediately stepped in and began assisting us in our search. Accompanied by Mark, we then did a follow-up exploration, returning to every part of the Clubhouse I had visited. However, I had neglected to check the Sandwedge, where we had eaten breakfast. With Mark leading the way and assuring me the whole time he would stay with us until the keys were found, we discovered the keys had indeed escaped from my purse. I believe they jumped out of my purse and onto the oor while I was dining. anks for the kindness expressed by Mark, which helped alleviate my distress. I tripped, fracturing my wrist and causing a brain bleed. Since I could not right myself, I sat on the sidewalk for 15 minutes yelling for help, to no avail. Chris and Michelle, who were walking their dog near the South Clubhouse, heard me and came to my aid. ey helped me stand up and walked me home. ey are true angels and I thank them tremendously.
