54 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | APRIL 2026
This is the perspective of
the artist of the month, Kitsy
Anderson. "Music lis the soul.
Most of us have been touched
by all kinds of music. We love
to listen to music when we're
happy, sad, need to be uplied,
contemplative, or a myriad of
other emotions. In our class, we
listen to music as we draw and
paint. It calms, inspires, and
makes a creative atmosphere. We
share our ideas and cheer each
other on. Recently, our art teacher, Rob Kelman, challenged us
to express music in a form of art. It has been wonderful to see
dierent ideas, talents, and versions of this challenge from other
artists. I took two dierent approaches, and enjoyed both. I had
not considered music to be one of my subjects, but this challenge
encouraged me to try something dierent.
"e angles and perspective, as well as the subject, instrument,
and hands were a challenge that I needed to overcome. Truly,
music is a form of art. Come join us and be inspired."
Classes are held on Mondays and Fridays from 10 am to 12 noon
in the Arts & Crafts Room. There is a nominal $5 fee per person per
session. If you have any questions, call Rob at (951) 992-9156. ~
