Social Committee
We have another new member! Mona
Swinehart has been a resident of Four
Seasons for 11 years and she has loved
every minute of it. She has been active in
many areas of the community, including
the Landscape Committee, Recognition
Committee, Garden Club, pickleball, and
line dancing. Mona served as coordinator
for the Home Garden Tours in both 2023
and 2025 and is a passionate gardener who
enjoys helping others with their gardens.
Before retiring, Mona was an oncology
nurse and spent her last 12 years at City of
Hope, which she considers an incredibly
special and meaningful part of her career.
Mona and her husband Gayl have been
married almost 60 years and have two
children, five grandchildren, and three
great-grandchildren. Gayl owned his own
chemical business which he sold in 2007
and is still doing a variety of other part time
jobs.
Mona has already become an
instrumental part of the Social Committee.
She and Nancy Ginnetti were the Co-Chairs
on the Murder Mystery Companies "Death
of a Gangster." For those who attended we
hope you had a fabulous time! Welcome
Mona!
Our next event will be a Kentucky Derby
Luncheon on June 27. Ticket sales begin on
May 26 in The Lodge Ballroom from 9 to
11 am. This event will be assigned tables.
Ticket price to be determined. Doors will
open at 11:15 am. Kentucky Derby attire
is encouraged. Prizes will be awarded for
hats that are the most imaginative, most
colorful, and other categories. So, get
