Where else can we access so many health services and consults, AND a hot dog lunch – all for FREE and all right here in our beautiful Ballroom. Team Sunshine is so thankful to our partners Home Instead and VNAcare for this year's iconic Health Fair. Mark your calendar! It's almost time for our Annual 90+ Birthday Celebration on June 25 at 1 pm in the Ballroom. This is a community-wide event to celebrate 90 Years (or more) of BEING AWESOME! Featuring live entertainment from Dave Tuvim on piano, accompanied by saucy Sandra Lubbers Garces with stunning vocals. There will also be cake and other fun stuff. It's not too late to contact us if you know a 90+ resident, so we may extend a special invitation to their birthday bash. Team Sunshine Cancer Support / Caregiver Support Meeting The next meeting will be June 9 at 10 am at the Culton home (8190 Parry Drive). We will be joined by Toafa Nasio, providing a wealth of information on available resources, along with Reverend Mark as facilitator. Meetings are held the second Tuesday of the month. We have reached out to the families to offer condolences and assistance. Our Newcomers team enjoyed several Welcome Home house- calls in March and is excited to begin this labor of love every other month to welcome new friends into the community! If you have a Four Seasons friend who is struggling with illness, loss or in need of cheer, please notify us so we may send a card and a follow-up phone call. Greeting Card Class Thank you for helping us spread the word about our class. We meet the second Friday of every month in the Arts & Crafts Room from 10 am to noon. Students will make two greeting cards. $15 secures students a class kit and a spot in class. All the supplies are provided for you. You just need to bring scissors and glue.
