22 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | JUNE 2026 | Feel the Rhythm of Summer June is here, and it's the perfect time to relax, recharge, and enjoy the rhythm of summer with the Drumheadz Club. As the days get longer and the sunshine brightens our community, there's no better way to connect than by gathering together in the circle. We've been having some amazing drum circles — the beats and rhythms have really come together, creating a fun and uplifting experience for everyone involved. Our drum circle on May 7 was especially exciting, with 18 drummers in attendance, and the energy in the room was absolutely awesome. Drumming is a wonderful way to stay active, reduce stress, and share positive energy. The steady beat brings people together, lifts the spirit, and creates a sense of unity that everyone can feel — whether you're playing along or simply soaking it all in. No experience is needed — just come as you are and enjoy the moment. Every beat adds to the rhythm, and every person adds to the circle. To help everyone participate, we provide six extra drums and a variety of percussion shakers, and we may have up to 20 drums available depending on RSVPs. If you'd like to guarantee a drum reserved for you, please RSVP. You can text or call Debbie Foster at (805) 406-6581 or Daune Willahan at (831) 233-0135. Feel free to reach out with any questions! We meet on the first and thirrd Thursdays at 2 pm in the Ballroom. DrumHeadz Drum Circle Needle Me Happy Father's Day Father's Day was first proposed in 1909 by a woman from Spokane, Washington; however, it was not declared a permanent national holiday until 1972.
