The next Golf Club Membership meeting is scheduled for June 23 at the Clubhouse for the Hemet Golf Course after Tuesday's play (about 1 pm). 2. The next Golf Club Board meeting is scheduled for July 23 at the Board Conference Room in the Lodge at 4 pm. 3. The next Social Events are scheduled for July 25, at the BBQ and pool areas where the Club will host a Taco que and on Oct. 3 the Club will host Karaoke Night with "Comfort Food." More details to follow! Meet e Board A series of articles introducing the members of the Board of Directors of the Four Seasons Golf Club started in the March Herald. In this issue the Membership Chair (Blair Becker) and the Rules Chair (Bill Swinney) will be highlighted Blair Becker: He spent 33.5 years with the Postal Service. Irene and Blair settled in Four Seasons in 2007. He "met many good friends through his association with the Club." He hopes that the residents "will experience the fun and friendships that has enjoyed as a member of the Club." He has served as the Membership Chair for the last three Golf Club Boards. Irene was the immediate past Secretary for the Club's Board. This guy has the most amazing memory, especially numerical (like what club I used on number four six years ago — who remembers that?) that I have encountered. Bill Swinney: He was born and raised in Southern California (a rare native son). After 37 years in the sales of doors and commercial hardware, he retired to Four Seasons in 2007, first as a get-a-way and then full time in 2014. Mary and Bill have been married for 53 years and are among the hardest workers and contributors to Four Seasons that you will ever find. Bill has served as the Rules Chair for the last three Golf Club Boards. Bill has an amazing grasp of the rules of golf and can explain them in a way that even I can understand. The club participates with the Hemet Valley Pool Club; we host and travel to other 55+ communities and have tournaments with other teams. The game of choice is 1-15, it is a form of 8 Ball and it is a lot of fun. We are also interested in enlisting a few more players for our club.
