On Sun., May 3, the Bocce Club had their Championship playoff games and guess what? We have new winners for this year. It was a cool May day with not too much sun, but the players were eager to play to see which team went on to play the next round. Only four teams survived the first round and by the time we got to the last two teams in the playoff, we had our second and first place winners. Coming in second place was the WizKrewe team. Pictured left to right is Orville Ellingworth, Cynthia Ellingworth, Robert Walker, and Larry Foster. And our first-place winners are the Bocce Brats starting from left to right is Vince Russo, Paty Flohr, Teri Calderon, and Mark Livesay. Great job teams. ~ Ross Brunetto, Bocce Chairperson, (951) 926-8295 30 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | JUNE 2026 | Bocce Four Seasons is an ACTIVE community, and keeping active is essential for developing and sustaining health and wellness for our residents. We have established a pool club that will help us organize activities at the pool that enhance wellness, foster community, and boost quality of life. The first activity we have started is water volleyball games on Thursdays at 5 pm. All residents are welcome no matter what your skill level. Activities in the water help residents with limited mobility or sensitive joints to stay active. So come and play with us! Or come and watch the fun. Stay tuned for more activities to come. Water Volleyball First Place is the Bocce Brats and Second Place is WizKrewe Shuffleboard It's not too early to think about Shuff leboard season. This year has f lown. We start in September and finish before the holidays. Keep a lookout in the Herald for the date of sign-ups in August. We do have a very small group of us who play on most Tuesdays and Fridays at 8:30 am. Come on out and join us. If you have never played this is a great opportunity to learn. As a resident you can always play on your own. Just stop by the Lodge and they will set you up. Always be on alert the courts are very slippery after the mixture is applied.
