The RV Club was on the road again with a stay at the Dockweiler RV
Campground in Playa Del Rey, California. This beachfront location
with full-service amenities, and easy access to top Los Angeles
attractions was the perfect home base for our adventures. The group
had so many awesome activities on this trip with a docent-led tour
of the Nethercutt Museum being a favorite, and where the girls got
to wear their headbands from the 1940s and the guys had a love fest
with the antique car exhibit. The excellent docent-led Getty Villa
Museum tour was amazing as we enjoyed the Getty Villa near Malibu.
Then it was off to visit the unusual and sometimes strange sights of
Venice Beach, the Santa Monica pier and of course, the canals. And
who could forget the beach bonfire, scavenger hunt and pie back at
camp. Life is good!
As summer approaches, our annual Happy Hour party in the
Palm Court will be on June 9 and our annual dinner dance party on
the Lanai will be on July 21. In August we travel to Paso Robles and
Monterey, California for a unique camping adventure, wine tasting
and dining of course.
Adventure awaits you, come explore beyond your horizons and
join the fun as an RV'er or WOW (With Out Wheels). Just remember,
