Every Tuesday afternoon my mother, Elaine Pfuehler, goes to the Clubhouse with
our neighbor, Deneice Vargas, to play Rummikub with other beautiful ladies. They
have all gotten to know each other and have a ball playing the game. I think they
enjoy the conversations as much as the game itself.
On April 14, 2026, my mother turned 103 years old. To add to her many celebrations,
the "Rummicute" ladies (because they're all so cute) came over for cake and ice
cream. I personally got to know each one and they are all very active and lovely
ladies. Thank you Deneice, Carol and Linda for making my mom's birthday special
and happy birthday to my mom.

Congratulations to Jona Jetter, first place winner of the Side Pocket Sisters' Quarterly Tournament, and Rhoda Hollingquest who came in
second. Each of the 17 sisters brought on their "A" games, but sadly only one could bring home the coveted lady statuette. All the sisters rallied,
bringing delicious dishes to share and sustain the players as the day progressed.
We'd love to offer this sisterhood to all ladies interested in billiards. New players are welcome to join in the fun every Wednesday morning
beginning at 10 am. Come about 9:30 am and a seasoned sister will welcome you into the fold with pointers.
