My husband and I have proudly called Terramor home for the past three and a half years. We live in one of the age-qualified neighborhoods, and one of the things I enjoy most about living in Terramor is the strong sense of community. Whether through community events, volunteer opportunities, or getting to know our neighbors, Terramor is a special place to call home. I was inspired to run for the Board because I care about our community and want to help shape its future through thoughtful leadership, transparency, and resident engagement. I initially joined the Homeowner Review Committee (HRC) to better understand HOA governance, contribute to the community, and explore future Board service. I served on the HRC as both a member and later as Chair, working with the Board, management, and residents on community initiatives. During that time, we introduced resident surveys and community focus groups to gather homeowner feedback. Professionally, I have spent my career in Human Resources, Safety, and Risk Management and currently serve as a Director of Risk. My experience includes leadership, budgeting, strategic planning, compliance, and risk management. These responsibilities have strengthened my decision-making, financial accountability, and leadership skills. After accepting my current role, I stepped down from the HRC so I could focus on that transition and ensure I was honoring my commitments. Now that I am established in that position, I am ready to dedicate my time and experience to serving Terramor once again. I understand that the Board's responsibility is to represent the entire community, make fiscally responsible decisions, preserve property values, and ensure that Terramor remains a vibrant, welcoming community that residents value and enjoy. Terramor includes both age-qualified (55+) and all- age neighborhoods, and I understand the importance of preserving the governing requirements and amenities that make the age qualified lifestyle possible. I believe Board members should listen to all residents, communicate transparently, and focus on solutions that strengthen our community while respecting the structure and requirements that make Terramor unique. Through community events, improved communication, and other opportunities that benefit residents, we can foster greater connection, engagement, and investment in our community's success. My vision for Terramor is to preserve the qualities that make our community special while promoting transparency, fiscal responsibility, thoughtful planning, and opportunities that bring residents together and strengthen our sense of community. Thank you for your consideration and support Renee Botello Statement by Daciena Antoinette Green What I enjoy most about living in Terramor is the genuine sense of community that defines Terramor. From the friendly conversations on our trails to the shared excitement at neighborhood events, Terramor feels like home in every way. It's a community built on connection, pride, and the belief that we are stronger when we support one another. My decision to run for the Board of Directors comes from that same sense of connection and responsibility. Over the past six years, I've had the privilege of leading a club and organizing community events, most notably Jazz on the Commons and our annual Juneteenth celebration. My experience also includes serving on both the Facilities Committee and the Homeowner Review Committee. I've helped conduct surveys of homeowners, assisted with facilitating a resident focus group, and, for the past nine months, served as a Junior Board Member — an experience that has prepared me to understand the Board's responsibilities and the needs of our community. Through these roles, I've seen firsthand how collaboration, transparency, and clear communication strengthen Terramor. I also had the privilege of helping bring the idea of our community magazine, Beyond the Gates to fruition, a project designed to enhance engagement and connection among residents. I understand that the Board's role is to represent homeowners responsibly, oversee the association's operations, and make decisions that protect property values while enhancing quality of life. It requires professionalism, fairness, and a commitment to listening to diverse perspectives. These are values I bring to every project I take on. My experience in community organizing, communication, and committee coordination has taught me how to listen, build consensus, and turn ideas into action. I bring a structured, diplomatic approach and a genuine commitment to inclusiveness and clarity. I believe strong systems, open dialogue, and consistent communication are essential to a thriving HOA. My vision for Terramor's future is a community that continues to grow in transparency, connection, and resident involvement. I hope to see even more opportunities for engagement, clearer Board of Directors Candidate Statements
