As we celebrate America's 250th anniversary this July, it's the perfect time to let a little patriotic music back into our lives. Those classic tunes like "Yankee Doodle Dandy," "You're a Grand Old Flag," and even the lively swing of "Alexander's Ragtime Band" still have a way of getting our toes tapping and our spirits lifting. So why not follow that rhythm straight into something fun? Whether you've danced before or you're brand-new to it, tap is joyful, energizing, and wonderfully social. And yes … syncopation really is in the American soul, which means you already have everything you need to get started. Tap is all about fun, friendship, and feeling the beat; we'd love to have you join us every Tuesday and Thursday from 11 am to 12 pm in the North Clubhouse. We also have an inventory of tap shoes for you to borrow. For more information, contact Jeann Svavar at (951) 990-2779 or svarvar@svarvar.net.
