HONEYBEE'S BUNCO BUNCO BUDDIES Join the Honeybee's Bunco group every Tuesday from 1 to 3:30 pm in Oakmont 1. Anyone can join — no limit! For more information, call one of our hostesses: Nancy Brunick, (714) 272-7818, Nancy. brunick1@outlook.com or Sharyn Onstott, (951) 543-7969, Onstott47@gmail.com. The Bunco Buddies meet on the fourth Wednesday at 1 pm each month. We have a lot of fun socializing, meeting new friends, enjoying tasty treats, and of course, playing Bunco. We have a large group so we are always in need of substitutes. If you are interested, contact Pat Parker at (909) 556-2993. 42 | LIFE IN SOLERA | JULY 2026 | Hello bowlers! Our summer leagues have just started so if interested, please contact Canyon Lanes directly or give me a call at (951) 231-3991 and I will help you find a spot! Most of the summer leagues are still only $12 a week with $9 going to Canyon Lanes and the rest going into the prize fund. We bowl to the end of August. I had three leagues last fall and gave away over $21,000 that was collected with weekly fees, strike funds and 50/50 raffles. It was a true delight seeing all the winners. Our NO TAP leagues are the most fun because if you only get down nine pins, you still get a strike. Even for the beginner, scores can be 180 or higher. Get out and meet some new people. It's a lot of fun! ~ Vallarie Clegg BOWLING Are you looking for something to do on a Monday afternoon to broaden your interests and help keep your mind sharp? Stop by the Clubhouse. If you like playing games, Rummikub might be right up your alley. Although it's tile-based, it is similar to many card games you may have played in the past. It's a very easy game to learn and takes about 15 to 20 minutes to complete each game. Our group of players come together to have fun, laugh and enjoy each other's company every Monday from 2 to 4 pm. If you have a few minutes to spare, just drop by to see what Rummikub is all about. We would be happy to have you join us. If you have questions, please call Carole Stone at (951) 385-3450. RUMMIKUB The Texas Hold'em Group held their first Big Game Night on May 19. And just like in Texas, where everything was bigger, so were the bets, bluffs and "all-in's", along with even bigger fun! Our very own director of the poker group, Patrick, took first place. In second was Toni; Herman was third; Wayne was fourth; and Thelma grabbed fifth. Don't feel bad for Wayne and Thelma as they each win a high hand pot in the game. There will be another Big Game Night later in the year. You have plenty time to come in and find yourself a seat at one of the four tables. You may be the big winner at our Big Game Night this fall. The poker group plays every Tuesday night at 4 pm in Oakmont Room #3. Please arrive at 3:45 pm to get signed in, find a seat at a table and then mingle with the other players before the game starts. If you are interested in joining, please contact Patrick Hydo at (858) 353-5241 or at Patrick33hydo@outlook.com. You can also find Patrick setting up for poker between 2:45 and 3:35 pm on Tuesday in Oakmont Room #3. He's more than happy to answer your questions. ~ Submitted by Cindy Bice TUESDAY NIGHT POKER
