Bocce & Shueboard Fun Day To all residents, the Bocce Club and the Shuffleboard Club would like to invite new and experienced club members to a special one-day game event on Sun., Aug. 2 starting at 3 pm. This special one-day game is to introduce are neighbors and friends to try a game of bocce and shuffleboard so that we can boost the membership during regular club season. We will have experienced players to help explain the game to new comers how to play. Afterwards, we have reserved the BBQ area so that you can bring what you would like to BBQ and a small dish to share for about six people. These clubs have sponsored open fun days in the past and have been successful in getting new players for these great outdoor clubs. No need to sign up just show up and have some fun. Hope to see regular players and lots of new players. ~ Ross Brunetto, Bocce Chairperson, (951) 926-8295 30 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | JULY 2026 | Bocce Four Seasons is an ACTIVE community, and keeping active is essential for developing and sustaining health and wellness for our residents. We have established a pool club that will help us organize activities at the pool that enhance wellness, foster community, and boost quality of life. The first activity we have started is water volleyball games on Thursdays at 5 pm. All residents are welcome no matter what your skill level. Activities in the water help residents with limited mobility or sensitive joints to stay active. So come and play with us! Or come and watch the fun. We are planning on starting a walk fit in the pool activity sometime in July. Please look for our notification for the day and time. Water Volleyball Shuffleboard To all residents: Fun Day And Potluck. Bocce and Shuff leboard are inviting all to a Potluck Barbecue. It will be a true potluck. You supply whatever you want to barbecue for yourself and a side dish to serve six to eight to share. This is a social event and a chance to play Bocce and Shuff leboard. We will start off with playtime at 3 pm on Sun., Aug. 2. Play for an hour or so. Enough time to play both games then do our potluck. You bring your plates, utensils and drinks. Ross Brunetto, Bocce chair and myself are hoping to showcase both games and inspire new players. Games will be a shortened version, and we hope to have a fun day!. Our Shuff leboard sign-ups will be Aug. 6 at 1 pm in the Ballroom. Cost is still only $10 per player. Because of the summer heat we are playing on Tuesday and Friday mornings at 8 am. There is no commitment, no fee. just play when you can. If you can't be there at 8AM that's ok we usually play till 10. As always, you can check out the equipment. Stop by the Lodge desk and they will help you. CAUTION! Once the mixture is applied on courts DO NOT walk on them as they become slippery.
