FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JULY 2026 7 ACTIVITIES DIRECTOR'S REPORT By Cindy Graves Happy July everyone and happy birthday America! The Four Seasons is going all out for the 250th birthday this year starting with the Patriotic Golf Cart Parade: the line-up at The Lodge will be at 9:30 am. The competitive judging for the best-decorated carts will be at 9:45 am and the parade will take off at 10 am. This will give you time to get yourself back to The Lodge with your contribution for the community picnic in the Ballroom. The Bistro Firecracker BBQ will sell yummy grilled burgers and hot dogs and then you can move into the main picnic area for all of the appetizers, sides, and desserts. Our featured live music is "Lefty Martin and His Right Hand Band." These guys will get you up and out on the dance f loor. The whole day, from 10 am to 7 pm, we'll be having a Patriotic Pool Party in The Lodge Pool. Kids' hours will remain the same, 1 to 4 pm. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the day with us. We'll have some special features in the Lobby like a 250th birthday museum display of amazing American facts. Face painters and our own Uncle "Arner" Sam will also be making fun cotton candy as a special treat. After The Lodge closes at 7 pm, we'll be going up to our "after-glow" party to view the city's Red, White, and Blue Fireworks Show. Our own Four Seasons Turtle River Band will be providing the live music entertainment. Don't forget to bring your own lawn chair. What a blast we're going to have — we hope to see you there! Summertime is definitely upon us and our wonderful Dave Rohrbacker is at it again hosting an incredible Summer Dance Party on July 17 at 5:30 pm in the Ballroom. He's asking you to dress in comfortable shorts, sandals, or your favorite beachwear as you dance to all types of music. There will be games and all kinds of summertime fun! No price for admittance. The next day on Saturday, July 18 at 6 pm, K.J. Karen is spinning up some karaoke fun for you. Bring some courage, a song, and an attitude to be the next Four Seasons Celebrity … or just come to clap for your neighbors. Feel free to bring your favorite beverages and snacks. The Amphitheater will be presenting the Blue Breeze Band on Sunday, July 19 at 7 pm. This is a great band featuring R&B, Soul, and Jazz. The Bistro once again will be selling a quick dinner of hamburgers and hot dogs before you enjoy the concert. Chairs are allowed to be put out the night before at 6 pm. Finally for July, we want to cordially invite you to our first Health Fair in many-a-year. It will take place in The Lodge Ballroom on Friday, July 31 from 10 am to 1 pm. Come and meet all types of helpful professionals, for all kinds of health and care needs. There will be goodies and opportunity drawings for big basket prizes just for checking it out. I'm so happy to have the diversity of services to present to you. Lots of free stuff also makes it fun. Congratulations to Juan and Paulina for winning "e Best Molé in Southern California" and boy do they deserve that! Aer the Bistro's Molé specials in May, we are all addicted.
