14 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JULY 2026 Civic engagement comes in many forms, and for several residents of Four Seasons Beaumont, it meant spending long days helping ensure a smooth and successful election process during the June 2, 2026, Primary Election. Over the course of several days at the Beaumont Civic Center, Four Seasons residents joined election staff and fellow volunteers in serving as Election Officers, welcoming voters, answering questions, and helping guide community members through the voting process. Their efforts played an important role in supporting local democracy while creating opportunities to connect with neighbors from throughout the Beaumont area. For many of the volunteers, the experience was about much more than assisting with ballots and voter check-ins. It was an opportunity to meet people from different backgrounds, learn more about their community, and participate in an event that brings residents together around a shared civic responsibility. Throughout the election period, Election Officers greeted voters with friendly smiles, helped maintain an organized voting environment, and worked as a team to ensure that every eligible voter had the opportunity to cast a ballot. The atmosphere at the Beaumont Civic Center was both professional and welcoming, reflecting the dedication of the volunteers who gave their time and energy to public service. Residents who participated often found themselves getting to know fellow Election Officers as well as voters from across the city. Conversations between shifts, shared responsibilities, and a common commitment to serving the public helped create new friendships and strengthen existing community connections. The participation of Four Seasons residents also highlights the strong tradition of volunteerism that exists within the community. Whether serving on local boards, supporting charitable causes, or volunteering during elections, residents consistently demonstrate a willingness to contribute their talents and time for the benefit of others. The volunteers who worked the June Primary Election represent only a small portion of the many Four Seasons residents who stepped forward during this election season. Their involvement reflects the spirit of civic pride and community engagement that continues to make Four Seasons a vibrant and active place to live. As the final ballots were processed and the election concluded, these dedicated residents could take pride in knowing they had played a meaningful role in one of the most important functions of our democracy. Their service helped ensure that voters were welcomed, supported, and able to participate in the electoral process with confidence. The community extends its appreciation to all Four Seasons residents who volunteered during this election season and helped make the June 2 Primary Election a success. ~ Joyce Allen Four Seasons Residents Proudly Serve Community During June Primary Election L-R: Roxanne Meraz, Susie Disher, Juana Alamos, Lora Lopez, and Joyce Allen
