FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JULY 2026 5 Firewise Community Update e Ad Hoc Fire Committee has now completed the Firewise Community "North" application, and it was scheduled to be submitted to the Board of Directors at the June Board meeting. If approved by the Board, the Firewise application will be submitted to Cal Fire for approval. Currently, we are waiting for Cal Fire to approve our "South" application which has been submitted. Our community was divided into two submittals because of the number of homes in Four Seasons. Once both applications are approved by Cal Fire we will update our residents on the next steps that will need to be taken. e result of being a Firewise Community will be a crucial step helping our residents to prepare their homes against wildre and may help reduce costs of our re insurance. Individual insurance companies vary on the benet and may or may not approve a discount. Please contact your insurance company for information on discounts available to you aer we are approved as a Firewise Community. Fob System Replacement Our current fob system, which is 20 years old, is not working properly and cannot be repaired. More than 30 of our fobs are not working and several locations requiring fobs are not in working order. e Board of Directors has approved a replacement system that has been ordered. e cost is $42,000 and will be paid from our reserves. e new system should be installed in July and bring us into this century by allowing the use of our smart phones in place of the fobs. Fobs will be available for residents who don't have smart phones or choose not to use them. Once the new system is in place, we will receive instructions on the proper use of the equipment. July 4 Celebration Happy Fourth of July! Many exciting fun-lled activities are planned for our country's 250th birthday. Ley Martin and the Right-Hand Band will be entertaining us along with a cotton candy vendor. e Bistro will be cooking hot dogs and hamburgers and will have an ice cream bar along with a potluck set up in the Ballroom. As always, we will have our golf cart parade. Cindy and her Activities group will be decorating for the celebration. While Beaumont and surrounding cities are displaying reworks in the evening, a band will be playing at e Summit. Please, no reworks set o within Four Seasons. As a reminder, all reworks, including sparklers, are illegal in Riverside County. Have a happy and safe Fourth of July celebration and celebrate our wonderful country!
