54 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JULY 2026 Crown Divas May event was Cinco de Mayo. As you entered the room you would see vibrant colored decorations. Hanging from the chandeliers were lime green, hot pink, and citrus orange paper lanterns. On the walls were brightly colored banners of red, white, green and blue. The tables were covered with pretty fuchsia, turquoise, yellow and green tablecloths. On them were sombrero bowls, cactus centerpieces , colorful napkins and plates. Mariachi music softly played in the background. The Divas entered the room beautifully dressed in bright colorful dresses, blouses and skirts. The menu was Mexican Cuisine. Each dish was prepared by the ladies themselves. Everything from appetizers, side dishes, main course to desserts were delicious. The game Loteria was played similar to bingo but instead of numbers the cards have Mexican illustrations. Pin the Tail on the Burro was played and is one of the favorite games. Diva Lady Cha Cha Champaign blind folds you, dances and turns you around then leads you to the burro picture. Also played was Cornhole another favorite. At this event we have high energy, much laughter and a lot of camaraderie. The Divas shared thoughts and ideas with one another and welcomed the new members. ~ Irma Romero, (626) 733-3019, Irmabsromero@gmail.com (printed as submitted) Hello all you lovers of sweet soul music, Motown, R&B, and funk.
