It's an absolutely thrilling season you won't want to miss! Written by Beverly Taylor ocean Hills Society for the Performing Arts The first concert of the year is in the books. If you miss it, you can always see past concerts on the Choral Society webpage. Judging by the reaction of the audience, this past concert in May was a huge success. It is such a joy to perform before an appreciative audience of friends, family and neighbors. Thanks to all who attended and supported our efforts. We look forward to doing it all again on Dec. 6. But first we are also looking forward to taking a little time off to recuperate. A lot of work goes into performing and a bit of a break is welcome. The Choral Society continues to grow. Every year we add new singers and are happy to welcome them. There are no auditions required. If you like to sing and think that it might be for you, consider coming to one of our rehearsals and take a listen. We are a very friendly group and always like newcomers to join us. We practice on Thursday mornings from 10:15 am to 12 pm. Rehearsals for the Holiday Concert will begin on Sept. 10. Singing brings great joy to your heart and seems to make your troubles disappear, especially when you are in a group. The website for the Choral Society is http:// ohchorale.wixsite.com/ohchorale. It is available on the Ocean Hills Country Club website under "Our Clubs." You can also scan the QR code to get to the website. Written by Jack Shabel Choral Society
